1.General Description

Calcium Bromide 52% is a single salt (CaBr2) clear brine fluid with a density of 14.2

pounds per gallon.

Calcium Bromide has the following feature and benefits:

It is non-damaging to the formation,

It is thermally and chemically stable,

It can be blended with other solutions containing bromides and chlorides, and

It contains 52% (by weight) calcium bromide in solution.

2. Application

It is a Solids-free brine used in completion fluids and can be blended with Zinc/Calcium

Bromide and Calcium Chloride solutions to formulate non-damaging fluids of densities

from 11.7ppg to 15.1ppg.
